A Brief Look at the Lexus NX

The First Generation: 2014-2017

The first Lexus NX was introduced in 2014, marking a new era for the luxury car brand. The NX was Lexus’ first compact crossover SUV, designed to compete with the likes of the BMW X3 and the Audi Q5. The 2022 NX is available with several engine options, including a 2.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine, or a 2.5-liter four-cylinder plug-in hybrid engine. All engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2022 NX is available in several variations, including the NX 250, NX 350, NX 350 F Sport, and NX 350h hybrid. The F Sport package includes a sport-tuned suspension, unique styling elements, and performance features such as active sound control and variable gear ratio steering.
