Georgia Vehicle Titles
How to sign your Georgia Vehicle Title
Be sure to sign and print your name exactly as spelled on the front of your Georgia title. Avoid erasures, scribbles, and strike-throughs. If your Georgia title shows a lien or a bank name printed on the front, then your title will need to be signed off by the lien holder or have a separate lien release letter.
- On the back of the title, on top left, print your name on line where it reads “Transferor’s (Seller) Printed Name.”
- On the back of the title, right below where you printed your name, sign your name where it reads “Transferor’s (Seller) Signature.”
