New Hampshire Vehicle Titles
How to sign your New Hampshire Vehicle Title
Be sure to sign and print your name exactly as spelled on the front of your New Hampshire title. Avoid erasures, scribbles, strike-throughs and use a black or blue pen only. If your New Hampshire title shows a lien or a bank name printed on the front, then your title will need to be signed off by the lien holder or have a separate lien release letter.
- On the back of the title, sign where it reads “Seller’s Signature.”
- On the back of the title, print your name(s) where it reads “Printed Name.”
New Hampshire Vehicle Title Replacement Questions?
New Hampshire does not issue titles for vehicles that are older than 20 years, except for heavy trucks with three (3) axles or more, or truck tractors whose gross vehicle weight exceeds 18,000 pounds. Also, vehicles that are over 25 years of age may only be titled at an owner’s request.
